Board of Trustees Membership
One of our Trustees, Katrina Gordon, will be stepping down from the Board due to a change in her work commitments in addition to her college and family commitments. We are very grateful to Katrina for her input to the Board and to Families Outside as a whole. Her experience and candour have been tremendously helpful, and we wish her and her family the best in future.
We are now keen to recruit a new Trustee with current (or very recent/ongoing) experience of having a family member caught up in the criminal justice system. Direct input from families is essential to our ongoing work, as that experience benefits others in a similar situation.
As a Trustee for Families Outside, you will be asked to attend four meetings a year in Edinburgh. Ideally you will also be able to show support for Families Outside events through your attendance and possibly to attend relevant quarterly sub-committee meetings, in particular the Helpline Advisory Group. Appointment as a Trustee would be for one year in the first instance.
