Senior Fundraiser & Business Development Coordinator
- 21 hours per week (negotiable)
- £32,195 – £34,645 pro rata plus benefits
We are looking for a creative, confident, and experienced individual, ideally with a charitable organisation background, to join us to support and promote the work of Families Outside through Fundraising & Business Development.
Families Outside is the only national organisation in Scotland working exclusively on behalf of families affected by imprisonment. The organisation exists because the negative impact imprisonment has on the children and families left behind, often leading to longer-term hardship and exclusion. Our purpose is to improve outcomes for children and families affected by imprisonment so they can live lives free from stigma and disadvantage.
We are now recruiting for a Senior Fundraiser & Business Development Coordinator to work in collaboration with a small team, working closely with colleagues and with responsibility for embedding a fundraising strategy. The postholder will join the organisation at an exciting time of change, working to ensure Families Outside can address the immediate impact of imprisonment on the families left behind and inspire longer-term structural change. This new role is designed to play an important part in delivering these aims and objectives while ensuring our viability, effectiveness, and impact.
With experience in business development or fundraising, income generation, and proven experience of relationship management, you would be able to identify, contact, and develop potential new funding relationships and manage existing ones. You will be a professional with excellent communication skills and able to set priorities for your own work and for the work of others.
We offer a wide range of staff benefits including hybrid working, travel expenses, access to a pension scheme, laptop and mobile phone and 25 days paid holiday plus 10 public holidays (pro rata).
If you are this person and interested in finding out more, then we want to hear from you.
