INCCIP Conference, New Zealand
We were delighted to attend the inaugural conference of INCCIP (International Coalition for Children of Incarcerated Parents) in New Zealand in March.
About 150 delegates from nineteen countries and five continents took part in 15 plenary sessions and 45 workshops over four days, with Families Outside contributing a workshop and a plenary session.
We were then invited to Tasmania to meet with the Prison Service and government ministers and learned of the innovative work volunteers are developing with video visits. We look forward to sharing our findings.
