Families Outside has been shortlisted in the final stage of the “LNER Customer & Community Investment Fund”.
The fund supports projects located within 10 – 15 miles of the east coast mainline, where there is an identified social need which needs mitigated to create a more inclusive, prosperous and connected community.
Families Outside has focused its application on our direct 1-to-1 family support service in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. In supporting children and families affected by imprisonment of a household member, we help to ensure a family’s wellbeing from the negative impact on their social, mental, emotional, financial, and educational wellbeing and development, leading to (further) disadvantage, exclusion, and the risk of offending.
