At Families Outside, we recognise the value that volunteers can have in improving the outcomes for children and families affected by imprisonment, and are always looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team.

We aim to provide a wide range of volunteering opportunities which are designed to add value to the work we do, and to give our volunteers meaningful and fulfilling experiences.

Wherever your interests and experience lie, you can have a huge impact on our work.

All volunteers will be provided with relevant training, personal development opportunities, and ongoing support.

Our Volunteer Team is part financed by the European Social Fund and Scottish Government. The project is supported by the £9.7m Growing the Social Economy Programme as part of the Fairer Scotland Action Plan to tackle poverty and inequality.
